CARDET invites you to take part in a 1-day Workshop on ‘An innovative approach to Employability skills‘ as part of the GetThere project.

What is the GetThere project?

The GetThere- Journey to Employment project (https://getthereproject.eu/) is an EU project funded by the Erasmus+ programme.

It seeks a solution to youth unemployment by developing better employability skills across the European Union. It aims to offer a novel employability programme to employability trainers for their use with employability service-users.

Who is this training for?

This training is for whoever the field of employability (i.e. career counsellor, student employability officer, recruitment worker, human resources staff, employability educator).

What is innovative about this training?

This training will offer you the opportunity to be fully knowledgeable and prepared to use the GetThere Employability Handbook with your service users. The GetThere Employability curriculum model includes:

  • Innovative methodologies and tools;
  • Curriculum focused on developing employability skills from ASDAN, a UK Awarding Body;
  • Peer mentoring methodology based on the Mentoring Programme from Diagrama  (Europeace Youth) in the UK.
  • A series of employability skills that can be autonomously evaluated and validated in a way that can take part or be integrated in national qualifications standards as part of national curriculum designed for the preparation of individuals for the labour market.

Using an innovative curriculum model as well as a proven learning methodology, this training offers an effective programme for moving the unemployed into employment.
