Antreas Kafedji is from Nicosia and has a background in geosciences, project management, and non-formal education. He is a graduate of the University of Patras, with experience in geological research, mapping, data analysis, and the use of geospatial tools, as well as in projects related to sustainable development and environmental issues. He has extensive experience in education and collaboration with children and young people through Scouting, as well as through his involvement in educational and environmental activities in Cyprus and abroad. He has worked at international camp and youth centres, contributing to the design and implementation of programmes that promote active youth participation, cooperation, environmental awareness, and intercultural learning. Within the Cyprus Youth Council, he participates with the aim of strengthening young people’s voice, promoting non-formal education, and supporting initiatives that connect youth with issues of environment, innovation, and sustainable development, actively contributing to the development of policies and actions for the youth of Cyprus.
