Constantinos Loizou
Constantinos Loizou was born and raised in Nicosia and is originally from occupied Morphou and Kyrenia. He holds an Integrated Master of Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, for which he is currently working as a researcher.
Additionally, he has been actively involved in the field of youth affairs since 2017, both in Greece and Cyprus. In 2020-2021, he served as the Vice President of the Student Association for International Affairs in Greece. In July 2023, he was elected as the Secretary General of the Board of Cyprus Youth DiplomaCY for the two-year term 2023-2025.
Since 2019, Constantinos has been actively involved in several projects of the Cyprus Youth Council, including the House of Youth Representatives project, where he is currently a member of the steering committee starting from summer 2023, and the European Youth Dialogue project, through which he has represented Cyprus twice as a youth delegate in Sweden and Spain during the 9th and 10th cycles, respectively.
The individual is known for their objectivity, cooperative spirit, and determination. In his free time, he is interested in issues such as youth empowerment, modern history of Cyprus, international relations, environmental protection and sustainable development.
One of his priorities is to promote peace and friendship across the island, contributing to the achievement of a united Cyprus.
