YoungShip Cyprus in the frame of Empowering the skills of its members is organizing for a second time the “Elevator Pitch” Workshop, to take place on Saturday 22 February 2020. The workshop will be held at ARIS centre in Limassol (Pentadromos traffic lights) between the hours 10:00 – 13:00.

So what does “elevator pitch” mean?

An elevator pitch is a brief, persuasive speech that you use to spark interest to the listener (usually 30 – 60 seconds).

Scenario: You’ve just bumped into a former client at the airport. After exchanging pleasantries, he asks you what your new company does. You open your mouth, and then pause. Where on earth do you start?

Then, as you try to organize your thoughts, his flight is called, and he’s on his way. If you’d been better prepared, he would be more prepared to have stayed long enough to schedule a meeting.

In this workshop, we’ll explore more scenarios where having a pitch will prove useful, and we’ll look at how to craft an effective pitch.

The workshop is funded by Youth Board of Cyprus.

Participation is FREE. Limited places available so hurry up!

Note: Registration is required.
