Yesterday the Cyprus Youth Council with great excitement co-organized along with Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung and the German Embassy Nicosia, and with the collaboration of Mağusa Gençlik Birliği and Lefkoşa Gençlik Derneği, the event titled _‘Being Youth in Times of crises’_.
The panelists had the opportunity to build a constructive discussion around the sphere of ‘YOUTH’, and their experiences as youth representatives. They discussed the main challenges that young people face in Cyprus and Europe nowadays, and how the civil society and youth organizations can contribute in periods of crises.
The discussion also emphasised on how several crises during the years affected the Cyprus problem, and what should be the role of young Cypriots in the Cyprus problem and in promoting peace!
