SHORT BIO:

As a professional I aim to use my diverse background, expertise as well as extensive experience in designing educational material and workshops, for developing unique learning experiences for adult professionals, researchers and students (higher, secondary and primary education). I use design thinking, experiential learning and participatory design for skills development including problem solving and decision making, critical and creative thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship and collaboration. I combine these methods with different topics to steer mindset transformation and help individuals, communities and organizations who wish to improve their own attitude towards others and ways of working with others. Topics may include generally issues of equality, diversity, inclusion and space, such as combating gender stereotypes and unconscious bias, addressing discrimination and racism, inclusive language, gender representation in leadership and STEAM fields, participatory design of urban and public space, and many more, depending on the target group and its goal. My background is in Architecture Engineering and shifted into social sciences faculty to pursue an interdisciplinary Ph.D in Architecture, where I combined critical pedagogy, feminist thinking and methodologies, with critical spatial theories. Currently, I work in the Higher Education sector as an educator and researcher, as well as a Diversity, Equality and Inclusion Specialist working everyday with educational organizations who seek to improve internal practices, processes and performance, so as to shape more inclusive and equitable learning and working environments.
