Marigeorgia Voskaridou has been working as a personal and career development counselor since 2013. She has recently founded her own company/counseling centre, Lignum Vitae Counseling & Education, where young people and adults can develop their personal skills, talk about their endeavours and concerns, and built their career path. Moreover, she works with children with social, emotional and behavioral difficulties, through the implementation of a nurturing method, for which she received training in London. She also authors articles raising issues related to the above fields, which are published on her website’s blog or other online portals such as studentvoice.com.cy. Additionally, during the last years she has participated in seminars and conferences as a trainer in fields such as youth inclusion, personal and career development and labour market. Her background in Education gave her the opportunity to participate in a European Project for social and school inclusion directed at public primary school students in Cyprus.

Marigeorgia’s work and research focuses on man’s well-being, inclusion and multifaceted personality development. She strongly supports young people’s abilities, their right to engage fully and equally in public life and education, far from any discrimination. She also firmly believes that their continuous education through seminars and various activities enables them to be active citizens, ready to adapt to a constantly changing environment. As a trainer/counselor, Marigeorgia pursues all above, with her ultimate goal being to help youth express their enthusiasm and passion for life and their future. She authors articles on her area of expertise, addressing young people, parents and educators. During her career she has done volunteer work for counseling centers, as well as centers that support children with special needs, social and behavioral difficulties.
