🌍💙 The Cyprus Youth Council participated in the High-Level Conference of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union entitled “Mental Health and Inclusivity”, which took place on 27 January 2026 in Nicosia.

🧠 The Conference highlighted key challenges and policy approaches in the field of mental health, with a particular emphasis on inclusivity and strengthening youth resilience.

🌍 Representatives from EU Member States, as well as international organisations and stakeholders with expertise in mental health, took part in the Conference, strengthening European dialogue and cooperation.

👥 The Cyprus Youth Council was represented by its President, Ms Maria Diplarou, and the Programme and Policy Officer, Ms Diamanto Zisimopoulou, who delivered a short speech highlighting the crucial role of young people in shaping and implementing mental health policies.

💙 The meaningful participation of young people is a key pillar in building more just, resilient and inclusive societies.
