📍 On 5 February 2026, the Cyprus Youth Council attended the Annual Government Planning presentation, which took place at the Presidential Palace.

🤝 The Council was represented by Maria Diplarou, President; Theofilos Konstantinou, Vice President A and Anastasia Andreou, Secretary for International Relations.

👀 We closely followed the presentation and the priorities set for the upcoming period. A positive development is the increase in the Student Grant budget—one of our key positions in support of students. While we expect to see this implemented, we once again stress the need for the modernization and revision of the Student Grant criteria. As the institutional representative of youth, we will continue to monitor developments and call for the implementation of projects and the assumption of responsibilities where they rightfully belong.

⚖️ We expect concrete actions that will improve citizens’ daily lives and strengthen a more just society, with respect for human rights and zero tolerance for corruption.
