EUYOUSPORT (European Youth and Sport Together) is a project implemented by ENGSO Youth and co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme. It aims to enhance youth participation in sport governance. 

Objectives of EUYOUSPORT

  • Develop mechanisms for youth participation in decision-making processes within sports organisations.
  • Create a network of European youth and sport organisations to strengthen cooperation and exchange of good practices.
  • Organise the European Youth and Sport Platform 2025 (EYSP25) with the aim to connect the youth and sports sectors.
  • Empower and connect young leaders in sports at the European level.
  • Integrate sustainability, social inclusion, and mental health issues into European and national youth and sport policies.
  • Inform young people about EU institutions, youth and sport policies, and related opportunities.
  • Provide learning mobility opportunities for young people with fewer opportunities.
  • Promote the EU’s common values and fundamental principles through sport and physical activity.

Project Partners

The EUYOUSPORT project is implemented by a consortium of organisations from seven European countries:

Events & Activities

  • Kick-off partner meeting: Held in Frankfurt, Germany, on 20–21 February 2025, hosted by German Sports Youth (dsj) at the headquarters of the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). During the meeting, the partners aligned on key objectives, implementation strategy and upcoming activities of the project.
  • European Youth and Sport Platform 2025 (EYSP25): Scheduled to take place in Munich, Germany, from 5–7 June 2025. The main theme of the event is “Youth and Sport in Today’s World.” The event will bring together approximately 200 young representatives from various national and international youth and sports organisations to discuss and work on the most pressing priorities in the youth and sport sectors.
