The European Commission Representation in Cyprus in cooperation with the EURES network is organising for the 3rd consecutive year, the “Get a Job” Fair, on Thursday 28 of November 2019 at the Lanitis Carob Mill in Limassol, from 10:00 to 19:00.
The Fair’s objective is to help young people find the right job for them in Cyprus and Europe. The Fair aims to support young people in planning their future career paths by providing them with information on job opportunities and vacancies in Cyprus and other European Union countries.
The Fair targets unemployed graduates and new entrants in the labor market, high school graduates, university graduates, higher education colleges, postgraduate students and job seekers in general.
The exhibition will bring together nearly 50 companies from various sectors that have vacancies.
At the same time, public and semi-governmental organizations will be present who are active in the field of Youth, Mobility and Labour : the Youth Board of Cyprus and the Foundation for the Management of European Lifelong Learning Programmes for Erasmus+, Your First Eures Job, European Solidarity Corps, EPSO-EU Careers, the Ministry of Education Culture, Sport and Youth, etc.
The Fair will also bring together Job Advisors from the EURES network, the pan-European bridge portal between employers with job vacancies and job seekers. The job advisors from EURES Greece, Italy, Finland, Germany, Czech Republic, Romania, Spain, Sweden will inform participants about the employment opportunities available in their countries.
In addition, an important part of the Fair are the training workshops which will help participants develop skills that will be useful in finding work.
The workshops will be in both Greek and English.
