Cyprus Refugee Council is happy to announce the HelpRefugeeWork Platform, an innovative and free web service initiated by the UNHCR Office in Cyprus.
HelpRefugeesWork aims to bring motivated refugee job-seekers in fruitful interaction with employers and training providers. It offers continuous access to information on labour-related issues and available opportunities, while our team is working to identify suitable employers and training providers, encourage participation of all parties, facilitate matching of candidates with posted vacancies and provide individualized job-counseling.
Through this platform, we aspire to enhance your interaction with persons under International Protection.
– As an employer, it allows you to post your job or internship vacancies for free, timely reach out to a growing pool of motivated candidates and provide an opportunity to persons under International Protection to join you.
– As a training provider, it allows you to post your announcements on seminars, trainings, events etc in order to inform and engage participants, thus maximizing the impact and visibility of your activities.
-As a service provider, you can register or inform beneficiaries so they are provided with additional employment and training related options, or even use it as a means to enhance their digital/web use capacities.
-As an advocate of the integration of refugees in the local community, it allows you to raise awareness on their diverse professional and cultural profiles, inviting local employers and training providers to support the cause and cover their needs by posting their vacancies in the platform.
We believe that this initiative can serve our common goal to support refugees rebuild their lives and develop. We invite you to explore the platform and register, trusting in your collaboration for spreading the word among the refugee communities that you work with, as well as for populating it with the variety of your actions that you are currently implementing.
